TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAMWORK

A MESSAGE FROM THE OWNER
Aero Coffee Roasters is the culmination of all the things I have come to love after 27 years in the coffee industry; roastery, bakery and a café all under one roof. Aero was supposed to be a "one off" to grow and eventually get me to retirement.
Aero opened in June of 2020 at the height of a global pandemic and my dreams quickly turned into a nightmare as you can imagine. But something wonderful arose from that experience. I realized I was surrounded by an amazing group of individuals that cared about the business just as much as I did. As anyone who has worked in this industry, you know that the long term economics of making this a career just don't exist, I wanted to change that.
I started to research co-ops and employee operated businesses and developed a hybrid bonus model where after one year of full time service, every employee will receive a percentage of the bonus pool based on their role in the company.
My goal for this company is to someday transfer ownership to those board members that have helped build this company; the head roaster, heard baker, head barista, and head chef. They will continue to pass along the bonus pool program and enforce the concept that every employee is essential to the success of the business.

MISSION STATEMENT
There’s something remarkable about owning and operating the business of your dreams close to home. And because of this our philosophy is simple. We focus on the small things like our relationships with our customers, wholesalers, and community as much as we do the character of the product we serve - all with the same goal in mind, to share our home, and our coffee, with you.
SUSTAINABILITY
Small adjustments do matter. At Aero, we’ve committed ourselves and our operation to routinely expanding our means of sustainable practices. Setting goals, however big or small, enables us to observe real changes in the way we operate - from the beginning to end of our supply chain. Implementing the use of corn compostable cups, steeped coffee bags instead of plastic pods, recycled “to go” container, and compostable straws are simple adjustments that yield considerable outcomes.
